Healthcare marketing agency Smith & Jones received a platinum award in the 2014 eHealthcare Leadership Awards for its work on the Women and Heart Disease campaign for Ellis Medicine. The agency won Best Marketing Campaign in the 200-399 beds category.
The eHealthcare Leadership Awards recognize the best websites and digital communications of healthcare organizations and highlight the internet’s role in achieving business objectives. In 2014, the competition received more than 1,000 entries.
The Best Marketing Campaign category, for which Smith & Jones received a Platinum award, judges digital/online campaigns, and integrated campaigns with both digital and traditional media components.
The Women and Heart Disease campaign for Ellis Medicine was an integrated campaign with both digital and traditional media components. This wellness campaign aimed to educate women on the symptoms and dangers of heart disease, and offered a preventive screening with an innovative gift card called the Cardiacure, which provides a heart screening for women that assesses their risk of heart disease.
“It’s very rewarding to win an award for a campaign that demonstrates how Ellis Medicine is reinventing healthcare in its community,” said Mark Shipley, Co-founder and Strategy Director of Smith & Jones. “It offers the first women’s heart screening program of its type in the Capital Region and is tackling the number one killer of women head-on. We’re proud to be a part of that message.”
The campaign included the following digital and traditional media components: in-stream video, landing page, display ads, Facebook Newsfeed and Facebook video ads, television spots (:30 and :15), print, radio and shopping cart advertisements.
