Healthcare marketing conference to feature Columbia Memorial Hospital; Smith & Jones

Columbia Memorial Health Vice President of Marketing and External Affairs, William Van Slyke, is joining forces with Smith & Jones’ CEO, Mark Shipley, and President, David Vener, at the World Congress Second Annual Health System & Hospital Marketing and Communication Summit on Sept. 17 to present on topics such as brand visibility and content sharing.

William, Mark and Dave will take center stage at the Hilton Logan in Boston, M.A. to teach audience members how to create innovative, engaging and shareable content for hospital marketing.

The presentation provides examples of successful content marketing, insight on how to produce content that engages consumers and enlists new consumers with no relation to the organization.

“With an overflow of information on multiple social media sites it is difficult to compete with other organizations’ shareable content,” Mark said. “We hope our presentation inspires healthcare marketers to get smart about their social media presence and create innovative content that engages new consumers.”

The Second Annual Health System & Hospital Marketing and Communication Summit brings hospital and health system marketers together in order to advance their marketing efforts and keep up what the ever-changing healthcare landscape.
