Cardiac marketing video focuses on symptoms

Featured video: Dianne discusses moments leading up to her heart attack

When it comes to heart conditions — the symptoms are different for everyone. Dianne Hellert experienced this first hand after mistaking her cardiac condition for allergies. She said she struggled to breathe during winter months, but blamed her ailment on cold weather. In the summer, she thought she was out-of-breath due to allergies. Her condition worsened and it felt like an “elephant was sitting on her chest.” That’s when she turned to Ellis Medicine’s cardiac program. The team at Ellis discovered she had a heart attack and performed a coronary angioplasty to open her blocked artery.

Dianne’s story is featured in a cardiac marketing campaign we created for Ellis in 2016. Our research revealed that when it comes to heart conditions, people don’t always recognize symptoms and may not seek treatment until it is too late. If diagnosed early on, they can receive lifesaving treatment. We interviewed several patients about their experience with heart disease and the level of care they received at Ellis.

The multimedia campaign used online display advertising, outdoor, TV and print applications that drove audience members to a landing page to view patient videos and read about how Ellis is a leader in cardiac care.
