Q: When is a good time to shift marketing dollars toward wellness and prevention?
We’ve been slowly shifting our clients’ messaging toward wellness and prevention since the passage of the Affordable Care Act. There are two ways you can do this:
- Start shifting how you talk about your brand and make it focused on what the patient is looking for.
- Create content, mostly on websites and social channels, that focus on wellness and help people live healthier lives.
- Content that’s related to physical fitness or content that is related to diet and how to avoid certain foods.
The key is to move from service line marketing and toward health and wellness. If you do this successfully, you’re going to win the population health game.
