Sharon Lawless

Sharon Lawless

Sharon Lawless wears many hats:

  1. Account Supervisor;

  2. Super mom

  3. Master juggler

Long before taking on her Account Supervisor role at Smith & Jones, Sharon worked as a graphic designer at her family’s business, developing and designing printed materials for state agencies, colleges, and hospitals.

After that business transformed into Burst Marketing, a full-service agency, Sharon handed in her creative duties to become operations director. Ever since Burst merged with Smith & Jones in 2013, Sharon has focused her natural people skills in the areas of client relations and account management.

A volunteer at her local Ronald McDonald House, she also supports the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network by researching and developing emergency action plans. She was instrumental in making the Albany JCC childhood center a peanut-free facility, to create a safe space for children with food allergies. And she’s an advocate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and children with learning disabilities.

She earned her BS in Graphic Design from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and continues her education and professional development through specialized courses.

In her free time, Sharon is either refurbishing antique furniture, joining another spin class, or spending quality time with her two sons and husband.
