We’ve all been there – sitting in the waiting room of our doctor’s office people watching, checking our email or eyeing the front cover of a coffee table magazine. Sometimes, it feels like your name is never going to get called and you’re forced to listen to whatever music is playing in the background. Whether you’re there for an annual check-up or a major procedure, waiting room music can either put your mind at ease or make you more anxious about being next-in-line to see the doc.

We don’t want patients to feel any extra anxiety while they wait. So, we thought it would be fun and helpful to curate a Spotify playlist specifically for waiting rooms. Instead of the typical “light FM” music you’d normally hear, we put together an eclectic mix of songs. Artists range from Bob Marley and The Rolling Stones to The Lumineers and Iron & Wine.  Now, we don’t normally boast, but we have a musically inclined group of people here that think they know a good song or two.
