Marketing Director

Jonathan is responsible for reaching out to prospective clients at hospitals and physician practices, presenting our results-oriented advertising and branding approach and directing projects into the agency pipeline. He shares our philosophy on using insight to drive marketing strategies for healthcare business results. His previous experience with healthcare professionals, online advertising, mobile and social media gives Jonathan a firm grasp of the markets we serve.

Before coming to Smith & Jones, Jonathan was an account executive for a leading specialized media portal, where he had the privilege to work with many healthcare engineering and manufacturing firms. On his way to becoming Rookie of the Year for that organization, he refined his selling approach to help meet and exceed client expectations, quickly making him one of their top and most awarded salespeople.

Jonathan's previous achievements include building an online retail bookstore, implementing an environmentally efficient print marketing strategy for a popular local arts and culture magazine, and managing to success a quarterly healthcare magazine featuring local hospitals and healthcare practitioners. Every role has presented him with an opportunity to improve work processes and build a better mousetrap.

Jonathan received a Bachelors degree in History from the State University of New York at New Paltz, where, besides making the Dean’s List for seven semesters, he learned to exceed quotas and expectations. Away from work, Jonathan enjoys creating music on his computer, hiking, kayaking, web surfing and sushi bars.
